Born and raised in Karlovac, Croatia, Petric Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Pursued professional career as an architect and project manager in Vienna (Albert Wimmer ZT-‐GmbH) from 1993 to 2008.
Her primary interest concerned the relationship between philosophy and urbanism in development and application of ideal renaissance city model. She presented at the Biennale of Young Artists of Mediterranean in 1992. After the degree she moves to Vienna, where she works in the field of architecture. In 2008 she starts teaching at the University of Technology in Graz, as well as studying photography, at first on Academy of Applied Photography in Graz, followed by the research on architecture photography in the course of her PhD-study. She has been exhibiting, lecturing and writing on architecture and photography internationally. From 2017 she works as Advisory board member at the Cultural Council of the City of Graz for interdisciplinary projects.
